#1 – MATT KEEVEN 2011 HARLEY-DAVIDSON STREET GLIDE 137 HORSEPOWER 123 TORQUE
This horsepower enthusiast owns two of the baddest bikes ever built from Ted’s. Keeven was featured in Thunder Roads Magazine, here is an excerpt: “It’s a boy, or at least those were the words I expected to hear when Matt and Ed emerged from the dyno room here at Teds Motorcycle World. The two shared the look of accomplished satisfaction that you rarely see outside of the child bearing process. I asked them with great anticipation, “Well?” They shared a silent giggle as if they were two school kids who had a secret to tell. Finally, the proud poppa Matt said, ”137 horse and 123 torque.” His face unable to mask his joy and then the two went to laughing yet again. Feeling left out of the joke, I had to ask what was so funny. That is when Ed Miller, our head technician, chimed in that that this was after it had been de-tuned enough to run on the street and on “pump-gas.” Otherwise, she would of been in excess of 140 horsepower.”
#2 – BILL STEWART 2009 STREET GLIDE 124 HP
It’s only natural that the owner of Ted’s, Wild Bill, owns a bike in the top 3! His bike has been heavily modified and contains a custom Map from our very own, Ed Miller.
#3 – BEN JULIAN 2010 ROAD GLIDE 122 HP
Ben Julian takes customizing his motorcycles very seriously in both aesthetics and performance. In order to take our number three spot, this long time customer upgraded his Road Glide to 120 cubic inches, used Screamin’ Eagle Kit #92500011, Screamin’ Eagle Hi-Flow Injectors, Screamin’ Eagle Heavy Breather, Super Trapp two into one exhaust, and used a custom map from our service department.
#4 – RALF KLINGE 116.8 HP
Our friend from Germany! His 2009 Ultra has a 120 crate engine from Harley-Davidson and uses a reworked 58 mm throttle body, Screamin’ Eagle 48 mm air filter, Screamin’ Eagle mufflers, and a custom map from Ted’s.
#5 – TIM THOMPSON 116.4 HP
Our Service Manager, Tim Thompson’s winter project really produced some horsepower! His 2006 Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide features a 110 cubic inch engine with modified CVO heads and flat top pistons, a modified OEM throttle body, Screamin’ Eagle 266 Cams, Screamin’ Eagle Heavy Breather air cleaner, Super Trapp two into one exhaust, and a custom map from Ted’s.
